Xx-63
Developed by choreographer Neda Ruzheva and philosopher-dramaturge Nikola Stoyanov, and described by art critics as “a clear statement about overconsumption, anaesthesia, and the fatigue that comes from constantly chasing sensation”, Xx-63 abandons conceptual ambiguity in favour of emotionally raw, dirty authenticity. It refuses refusal. Xx-63 is a reflection of a year marked by profound disenchantment with the arts – and their role in concealing, rather than confronting, the scope of today’s oppressive systems. Experimental voices across design, sound, and fashion collide in a hauntological remix of the recent past, where commercialised subculture, algorithmic appetite, and machine desire shape a choreography of saturation without release. Relations between movement and rest, and speed and slowness, unfold between unformed elements. Bodies convulse within a sticky fog of emotional fatigue, where withdrawal becomes not merely a symptom but a tactic of flight.
